Take Ethernet were it has never gone before. With the right wiring I will take this over wifi any time of the day.

I picked up the 500mbps units (TRENDnet TPL-406E2K 500MBPS) which were on sale last week - they seem to work quite well.

Yup, $28.99 IIRC. The TPL-406E2K is still 10/100 but presumably can sustain more concurrent connections.

Power line is what I use since our router is two stories away in our townhouse and on the opposite side of the house. It's literally as far as it can get from the XS. It's OK for phone/tablet, but for streaming it isn't strong enough.

I think the units we have are D-Link brand and I really like them. Definitely a huge boon for a streaming box like this, or a HTPC, which it was hooked to before getting the XS.
