AIOS rebate, did anyone actually get the rebate?

Postby dmartin » May 3rd, 2012, 3:13 pm

looks like I am getting run around with regards to this so called $20 dollar rebate?

I purchased a PIVOS AIOS from NCIX on Feb24, 2012. Tuesday Feb 28 I filled out the form and the same day I mailed the rebate request form that I filled online plus a copy of the receipt and the Original UPC code. The rebate is in the time frame that Pivous stated.

I have checked the site http://pivos.mycheckstatus.com/ but the site can't find anything.

So I sent an email to "rebates@pivosgroup.com" with an pdf attachment file that includes a copy of Rebate Request, my information, UPC code and receipt that I have purchased the Pivos Aios from NCIX in Canada.

then got this email

Since all rebates are done through a third party. Please submit an inquiry via this link:
http://pivos.mycheckstatus.com/.......
If you are not getting any result, feel free to contact us again.

I used the link pivous gave and fired two enquires and looks like it went into a blackhole since no response asking where are the copies...

so I sent an email back to "rebates@pivosgroup.com" since I am getting none sense from the link provided by pivous
We couldn't find any submissions that match the information you entered. Need Help?

as it was stated in the email and got the following response;

Thanks for contact us.
You can check your rebate status here at http://pivos.mycheckstatus.com/.
Should you have any other questions, feel free to contact us at any time.

Regards,
Pivos Rebate Service

what is the point of using the link that the answer I am getting since beining of March is as follow;

We couldn't find any submissions that match the information you entered. Need Help?

The way pivous is handling my rebate, I belive the rebate is only a sell pitch, however, I am wondering, did anyone really get this rebate?

I had couple of reports already, nonetheless I have passed the question to RFD for feedback.

By the way, the T&C says "Please allow 10-12 weeks for processing and delivery" so perhaps it just hasn't popped up yet.

I just got my card in the mail declining my rebate as well. This apparently is a new company with a terrible PR problem already. The way they have set up the MIR sucks. An easy straight forward MIR would have been appreciated. Some co-workers have asked about my experience with this box and I related the bad experience I've had with the rebates so they decided to go and buy WD instead.

Good to know, since it has passed verification then you should be fine. I am just surprised why it takes 6 weeks just to update the logs.
Regarding the reports I got three positive reports on avs forums, one still in process and haven't heard back from anyone on RFD yet.

T&C says between 10 and 12 weeks, its just a matter of time since you have passed verification.

I emailed Pivos back on April 17th to check up on my rebate, and their reply was positive.
(I am still awaiting the actual rebate, but at least I'm "approved")

They wrote:

Good morning,

Thank you for your inquiry. We have looked into your request and see that
your submission has been received and approved. Processing time for this
offer is 10-12 weeks.

Thank you for participating in this rebate offer.

Sincerely,

Pivos Customer Service

Canadian rebates seems to be a little slow .... but the rebate house we use is pretty good on processing. As long as you have submitted it per instruction and keep all copies, you will get your rebate.
